Not so smartphone

A few weeks back, I heard one of my colleague announced that it is now a possibility that you can be tracked by your cellular phone even it is turned off. To be honest I was pretty optimistic about that it is not possible. But later when I heard the same from someone more reliable, I got curious to find out more about this phenomenon.
So I started to look up this and very quickly I end up watching a film, “EAGLE EYE”. As a great admirer of Hollywood I think the film was a good watch and I rate it 6.5/10.
I came across many articles which discussed about phone tracking. But some of them also suggest that it is also possible to hear you conversation through the microphone of your cellular. ……………………………………………………..

Go ahead show your love for you smaty phone.

Most of the mobile phone manufactures are pretty clear that it is not possible and when you turn off your phone it actually turns off any transceiver. And this is not possible to use your phone to listen your conversations.
But they also confess that it may be possible if the operating system of your phone has been infected by a malware.  L LLLLLLLLLLLLL

PS: To avoid such spying you can remove the battery from your phone (throw away those phones with irremovable batteries). Or otherwise you can always try to get an un-smart phone, if you like.
